Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, right on Melrose Avenue, surrounded by shops, making it so convenient for shopping. The rooms were cozy and filled with lovely items to purchase. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about local dining options. The dining experience was fantastic, and the breakfast included was excellent. However, the noise from neighboring conversations made it a bit hard to sleep at times.
Staying on the first floor near the reception at this hotel has its ups and downs. The loud music playing all day long can be bothersome, but having an iron and ironing board in the room is convenient. The lack of privacy due to the proximity of the outside public lounge is a downside.
The hotel rooms have a very Arthouse/Bauhaus feel to them and are quite small but so comfortable and nicely decorated. It felt more like a dorm than a hotel, which I found charming. On the positive side, there are also a lot of nice goodies in the minibar. However, the service had its ups and downs, with a somewhat standoffish attitude one night when we requested ice for my friend's injured foot. The location, right at the heart of Melrose, couldn't have been better, making it easy to walk to shopping areas, grab morning coffee, and explore the city. Despite these great points, the dining was a bit on the expensive side, costing us $72 for 2 people including tip, especially considering the portion sizes. On the facilities side, everything seemed well-maintained despite the occasional service hiccups.
The hotel was conveniently located on Melrose Avenue near a lot of stores, with friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms were a bit challenging due to poor lighting and lack of ventilation, but overall a decent stay.
The hotel rooms were comfortable but lacked adequate lighting and storage options, making them feel somewhat overpriced. The service was friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent with vibrant surroundings, though noise from neighboring rooms was disruptive at times. The dining options were good, especially at The Hart and the Hunter. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory.
